Sensei Kenneth Davis 7th dan will give a seminar in Castlebar on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th march 2014.  The course is open to all clubs and associations. Times are Friday evening 6.30 to 8pm approx and Saturday 11 to 1 pm  and 2 pm to 3.30pm.

Ballybay Karate Club Open Competition is being held on 23rd March 2014 in St Macartans College, Monaghan. This competition is open to all grades, ages and styles. W.K.F. Rules will apply.

“IJKA Ireland is delighted to announce that Fermoy Karate Club, Kenbukan Dojo, will be hosting the upcoming Spring Training Seminar in Fermoy on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March 2014. The seminar will be presented by Kato Shihan IJKA World Chief Instructor, 9th dan.

Fudokan Shotokan Karate Academy are pleased to announce a seminar with Shihan Tomasz Piotrkowicz 7th Dan on 1st- 2nd March 2014 at Inver Community Hall, Donegal.

The Organizing Committee 1st European Games – Baku 2015 has approved the Sports Qualification document for Karate. This document has been circulated 500 days before the Opening Ceremony of the Baku 2015 European Games.

The third edition of the Dubai open took place between the 30th of January and the 2nd of February, with a participation of 50 countries and close to one thousand entries, and a record 100000USD prizes offered by the organization.

We would like to congratulate the whole team that contributed to this successful organisation. 46 countries and 831 participants met at the impressive MEO Arena of Lisbon and delivered a high level of karate. The extreme density of the top countries on the medal-table shows that titles in all categories have been fiercely disputed. Moreover, more than half of the countries represented have been awarded by at least one medal, and 13 with one title, as a proof of the exceptional level reached by karate in all European countries.
