WBC lightweight champion Yunto Nakatani (29-0, 22 KOs) defeated Thailand's Patch Sor Chitpattana (76-2, 53 KOs).
Starting from the third round, Nakatani systematically increased the pace and pressure on his opponent. In the middle of the sixth round, Yunto shook Chitpattana with a left hand, and then followed up with a series of excellent attacks. Chitpattana found himself on the canvas and the referee scored Nakatani's victory a second before the end of the sixth round.
This is the second successful defense of the WBC championship for Yunto Nakatani - in July, the Japanese defeated Filipino Vincent Astrolabio. The fight lasted only 2 minutes and 37 seconds - Yunto knocked out his opponent in the first round.
Yunto Nakatani remains undefeated in the professional ring. The Japanese is ranked ninth in the September ranking of the world's best boxers regardless of weight category by the authoritative magazine The Ring.
