PROVISIONAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
7.00-8.30 – Veryfication of the competitors
8.30-8.50 – council of judges
9.00-12.00 – eliminations in kata and fights (kumite)
12.00-12.30 – solemn ceremony of the openig of the championships
12.30-16.00 the finals
16.00-17.00 awarding ceremony2
REGULATIONS
The tournament will be conducted according to the Kyokushin Karate rules for
kumite, semi-contact kumite and kata.
COMPETITIONS AND CATEGORIES
1. The kumite competition (18+ years) will be held as a single-elimination cup in
the following categories:
men categories: -70kg, -80kg, over 80kg
women categories: - 55kg, -65kg, over 65kg
2. Semi-contact kumite will be held as a single-elimination cup in the following
categories:
Juniors boys (16-17 years) categories: -55kg, -65 kg, -75 kg, over 75 kg
Juniors girls (16-17 years) categories: -50 kg, over 50 kg
Children boys (14-15 years) categories: -55kg, -60kg, -65kg, over 65kg
Children girls (14-15 years) categories: under 50kg, over 50kg
Children boys (12-13 years) categories: -50 kg, -60 kg, over 60 kg
Children girls (12-13 years) categories: -45 kg, over 45 kg
3.The kata competition will be held in two rounds in the following age categories:
girls: 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-15, 16-17 years old
boys: 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-15, 16-17 years old
round 1 – is obligatory; the competitor performs a random-drawn kata
round 2 – the competitor performs a self-chosen kata out of a provided
selection.
4. Synchronic kata will be held with music accompany. In competition may be
participate three persons teams (male and female or mix in any age), which must
performed one of the kata from the preparate list of kata.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
A team can have any number of competitors in a given category, but 1 person may
be participate in only one competition!
In order to be allowed into the tournament, a participant must provide the following:
a valid sports health card
a national ID card or a school ID card
a parent’s or carer’s written permission to participate in The Sieradz
Presidents’s Cup International Kyokushin Karate Tournament Sieradz

clean, white dogi; protectors required for particular categories
entry fee of 10 Euro or 40 zl (Polish zlotys) (includes payment for dinner)3
