Kumite: First 3 points win, no time limit, 5-point win for grand championship.
Safety Equipment Required – Mouth Guards, Hands, Feet, Groin Cup (males). No contact,
Blood or Redness = Disqualification. Detailed Rules will be reviewed at black belt meeting.
Empty-Hand First 3 competitors perform, then score. High & Low scores are thrown out, added back in
Kata if a tie. If still tie a new Kata is required.
Weapons Kata: Traditional Okinawan / Chinese weapons allowed…. NO LIVE BLADES
Team Kata: Kyu and Black Belt separate divisions **CANNOT BE MIXED**
Self Defense: 3 Attacks minimum - 6 Attacks maximum (Black Belts can UKE for KYU ranks)
