In this year’s competition you will see a greater split in the grades which will encourage our less experienced students to participate.
Novices to Yellow Belts,(8th Kyu’s), Green Belts to Purple & White Belts (4th Kyu’s) and then 3rd Kyu’s to Brown & White Belt (1st Kyu’s).
Registration is from 8;00am with the competition starting at 9.00am prompt

COACHES:
- There will be licence & weight check on the day (No Licence , No participation)
- Will ensure only 1st Kyu & Below will participate in this EKF Kyu Grade National Championships
- All competitors must do the weigh – in wearing their Karate Suits, Any competitor failing the weigh-in check will not be allowed to change category on the day (allowance of +/- 1 Kg will be made.
- Weigh In for competitors can be made upon till 1 hour before their particular category is called or until 3pm
- Coaches ensure that individuals remain in their own weight and age category
- Coaches must be in Association tracksuits and display their current EKF TATAMI COACHES CCREDITATION to coach around the competition areas.
- Categories will be merged if they contain less than 6 competitors (Coaches will be notified via email 1 week prior to the competition)
