The Aikido Association of America is proud to announce a celebration of 40 Years of Fumio Toyoda Shihan Aikido in the USA. The training is open to students of any martial art or rank, and from any organization or dojo. Aikido instruction will be provided by Ed Tenzen Germanov Sensei and Stephen Tatsuo Toyoda Sensei. Prior to the celebration seminar, there will be a Kenshusei Training Program.
Ed Tenzen Germanov Sensei is the founder of the Bulgarian Aikido Association and Tendokan International. Mr. Germanov had spent much time as an uchideshi of Fumio Toyoda at AAA Headquarters Tenshinkan dojo in Chicago and teaches Aikido internationally. Mr. Germanov is a rokudan (6th degree black belt) from Aikikai. In 2012, Mr. Germanov received dharmic transmission from Tensho Zenshin.
Stephen (Tatsuo) Toyoda, President of the AAA and son of AAA founder Fumio Toyoda Shihan, has been studying Aikido since the age of three. Mr. Toyoda studied Aikido in Japan as uchideshi under Y. Kobayashi Shihan. Mr. Toyoda is the dojo cho of Tenshinkan Dojo and teaches Aikido throughout the US, Europe and Middle East
