1. General statements
1.1 The competition is carried in accordance with the current FIAS rules
1.2 The competition shall be staged and carried by the public institution “Palanga Sambo Academy“ and Lithuanian Sambo Federation.
1.3 The competition is carried to promote and develop sambo in Lithuania and in Europe and to strengthen international sport relations.

2. Date and place of the competition.
2.1 The competition shall be held from 13 to 14 June 2014 in Palanga, Lithuania.
2.2 Th venue shall be: Palanga, Multipurpose Sport Complex, address: Sporto St. 3, Palanga, Lithuania.
3. Terms of participation.
3.1 All the athletes representing national federations which are FIAS members may participate.
3.2 Each team may include up to 2 athletes in each weight of each age category for which the competition is held.
3.3 Preliminary applications for individual participants and lists of delegations for visa support, accommodation shall be e-mailed to the organizing committee at latest 1 May 2014.
3.4 The organizing committee shall provide visa support only to those delegations which will submit the above mentioned details in due time.
3.5 Each team shall present a referee.
4. Technical conditions of the Championship:
4.1 The competitions shall be held in accordance with the FIAS rules in the following age and weight categories:
Sport SAMBO, men born before 1998 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, 100, 100+
Sport SAMBO boys 2000-2003 42;
Combat SAMBO men: 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, 100, 100+
4.2 Each athlete should undergo a medical checkup before living his country for the competition, the results of the checkup should be recorded in the wrestler’s national license;
4.3 All the members of sport delegations are guaranteed by the Organizing Committee provision of first medical aid.
4.4 All the participants, coaches, referees and delegations leaders must have medical insurance.
4.5 All the delegations should have a record of a national anthem (CD), 2 national flags (1 x 2 meters).
5. Financial terms and accommodation
5.1 Trip to the venue and back, accommodation and meals for all the participants of the competition are to be covered by the sending organization.
5.2 At the participants’ wish, the organizing committee may offer accommodation and meals. The price of accommodation on a full board basis (2 meals a day) per person per day shall be 20 Euro.
5.3 The entry fee is 10 Euro per person, to be paid before weighing.
6. Winners awards
6.2 The athletes who won the top places (first, second, third), shall be awarded with medals, diplomas and presents.
6.3 The athletes who won the first places shall be awarded with a money reward.
7. Official ceremonies
7.1 Athletes participate in the official ceremonies of the competition. The attire shall include a red jacket and shorts.
7.2 The winners shall be honoured with a national anthem and a national flag shall be raised.
